All workshops require preregistration 24 hours before the event. You may register by paying for the workshop you would like to attend below. Upon receiving your registration, you will receive an email with a link to join via Zoom. Please note your payment will be indicated by the name Fit Diva Wellness, Inc. Thank you!

Pranayama & Pratyahara – The Art of Breathing & Withdrawal of the Senses

Pranayama and Pratyahara are the 4th and 5th limbs of Yoga according to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Pranayama is the practice of controlling the breath – the inhalations and exhalations – and therefore the prana (energy) within the body. Pratyahara is the withdrawal of the senses that follows mastery of the breath, allowing the mind to become more intently focused. We will focus on learning to apply these two limbs of Yoga together to help improve your health, steady the wandering mind, and deepen your yogic practice. We will share specific anatomy knowledge of how the breath works in the body physically. Along with how the breath affects the energetic body. You will learn safely how to engage in these ancient techniques to elevate your practice. Everyone is welcome.

90-Minute Hatha Yoga

Help maintain supreme health in a positive and loving way through yoga. This will set you up for a life of strength and fortitude. Also, align your thoughts on being concentrated in steady calmness. In this special 90-minute class we will move through all the main postures. Focusing on correct alignment to help bring flexibility to all muscles and joints and strengthen the nervous system. Pranayama (breathing) is incorporated into all the movements, so fantastic feelings of inner calm are felt. We emphasize practicing in a relaxed manner and feeling content during the practice. This practice ends with deep relaxation, breathing and meditation to remove impurities and bring a sense of well-being to the body and radiant peace to the mind.

Walking in Yoga

Walking is a wonderful and safe form of exercise. If you enjoy this on a regular basis it’s important to factor in many variations for safety, longevity, efficiency and comfort. We will use this workshop to take a look at posture, alignment, movement, and breathing. Most importantly controlling your thoughts with mindful meditation techniques. We will meet in a park (to be announced) for these classes (weather permitting). Everyone is welcome.

2-Hour Restorative Yoga

Restorative is a gentle, relaxing practice ideal for recovery from injury or illness, stress reduction, to compliment an active practice, or to simply renew the mind, body and spirit. In this transforming practice you will learn how to slow down and work deeply within yourself to bring you back to your natural state of being calm and content. We will use simple breathing and concentration tools to assist you in restoring and letting go in the asanas. This class can assist you in learning how to regain your power to maintain vitality and good health, which are so extremely important. A restorative class will enhance your current yoga practice or any physical disciplines you currently do. All levels welcome.

If cancellation notice is submitted by email to at least 24-hours before the class or workshop is scheduled to begin, you will receive a full credit to use in the future. Credits will expire 6 months after they are issued. In the unlikely event that a class or workshop is cancelled by No Worries Just Breathe (Fit Diva Wellness, Inc.), you will receive a full refund.
